Equal Justice Under Law
Equal Justice Under Law is a Civil Rights Nonprofit dedicated to achieving equality and ending the cycle of poverty across the nation by offering pro bono assistance to those most in need, giving voice to the silenced and disenfranchised. The work focuses on a range of criminal and social justice issues. It was my task as the communications and development director to design a responsive website and blog that better showcased the firm's litigation work and advocacy impact - with zero budget. Yup, that's right. This website was completely designed around public domain, iphone snaps, and an assortment of donated images. I unified the eclectic mix of photography by utilizing a full color palette to brand the site. Blue, orange, yellow, and purple lend weight to the overall aesthetic, breathing life into the monotonous labor of reforming legislation on capitol hill.
